The traditional salad of lettuce, apples, nuts, and cherries perfect for diabetics, with a Waldorf-style yogurt and mayonnaise sauce with simple and quick steps.
Waldorf Salad Ingredients

Steps to making Waldorf Salad
- To start we will roast the walnuts slightly in a pan, after a few minutes that they are already toasted we will reserve them while they cool and proceed to cut them into large pieces.
- Now to prepare the mayonnaise we get a bottomed container, add the egg yolk, salamis and start beating with a whisk or whatever you have by hand, incorporate the oil in the fine jet to make the emulsion and to finish we add the vinegar and place it cold.
- Peel and cut the apples into dice or canes, the celery into pieces often and wash and centrifuge the lettuce.
